Uinta County Methamphetamine Coalition: A grass roots, non-profit organization providing education to the citizens of Uinta County on dangers of methamphetamine production, use and addiction. The Uinta County Methamphetamine Coalition/Initiative also provides consulting services to other community groups, concerned citizens, employers and Substance Abuse Counseling organizations as well as support for family members of addicted individuals in the fight against methamphetamine addiction. The Coalition also sponsors/directs an annual Tri-State Methamphetamine Conference in Evanston, Wyoming each September, which is open to the public.

Our Mission Statement:

"To promote the prevention of Methamphetamine use and abuse, through education, community awareness and cohesion, with an eye to the future of our children and a Meth free family, community, county, state and country."

Our thoughts and prayers to the family and many friends of Michael Johnson, who was the driving force behind the Uinta County Meth Coalition.

Thanks for checking the Uinta County Meth Coalition web site. This site will evolve and much of that will depend on your input on how a web site could best serve the Coalition and the and the communities in Uinta County to battle the scourge of methamphetamine.

Details on upcoming conferences, where to turn to for information and support if meth abuse has affected you and your family, along with testimonials in their own voices of those who have defeated their demons and want to help others deal with meth addictions.
